In energy, mobility, and resource sectors, the horizon is long and reliability is critical: systems that must operate for years with high availability and deterministic behavior. The product must sustain continuous operation, end-to-end security, and controlled power consumption, with planned maintenance and technical traceability.
The challenge usually lies in combining field robustness (temperature, EMC, vibration), resilience (redundancy, fault tolerance, degraded modes), and lifecycle management (secure OTA updates, version control, spare parts/EoL) without introducing risks into critical infrastructure.
