Smart city
URBAN INFRASTRUCTURE
In smart cities, value lies in true modularity and lifecycle management: platforms built to last, integrate with legacy systems, and evolve through iterations without “breaking” what has already been deployed. The product must support continuous operation despite changes in vendors, versions, and regulatory requirements over the years.
The challenge usually lies in maintaining compatibility (multi-vendor environments, interface and data versioning), end-to-end security (device identity, hardening, signed OTA updates, and vulnerability management), and operational scalability (mass provisioning, observability, and fleet management) across heterogeneous urban deployments.
